That sounds pretty irresistable Rustum, pity it is closed on Saturdays. Back in the day I used to think that Seaforth in Rondebosch did a pretty decent fish & chips, but then seemed to have a change of ownership before disappearing completely.
I miss Seaforth. Rustum, you beast, I am on a fruit, veg and whole grain regime prior to surgery, and was just telling myself perkily that it wasn't too bad, quite fun in fact, when I read this post. Now my tastebuds are yelling for verboten slap chips.
